Intourist and Vietravel Signed a Strategic Cooperation Agreement
On June 17, in Kazan, as part of the Russia-ASEAN Business Forum, tour operator Intourist and leading Vietnamese travel company Vietravel signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at developing tourism exchanges between Russia and the Indochina region.
For Intourist, the document was signed by Deputy General Director Alexander Musikhin. Vietravel was represented at the ceremony by the company's management, who arrived in Russia as part of the official Vietnamese delegation headed by the country's Prime Minister.
The memorandum aims to strengthen the parties' strategic partnership in promoting Vietnam as a key tourist destination for Russian travelers, as well as developing organized tourist flows from Russia to Laos and Cambodia, and promoting Russian tourism products in the Indochina region.
According to representatives of the parties, the signing of the memorandum opens new opportunities for expanding tourism cooperation between Russia and the countries of Southeast Asia, and will also offer Russian tourists and visitors from Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia a wider selection of high-quality tourism products and services in the region.
