Winter fam-trip for the tour operators from Jourdan

From February 10 to 13, the Russian tour operator INTOURIST, together with Cosmos Hotel Group, hosted a delegation of 11 leading travel agents from Jordan in Moscow. The visit became the second familiarization tour for Jordanian partners organized by INTOURIST during the current winter season.

Despite the short stay, the program was rich and gave participants a comprehensive view of the Russian capital as a winter destination. The agents explored the Kremlin, attended a circus performance and walked around the festively decorated city, which still preserves the magic of the New Year atmosphere. Winter activities became one of the highlights of the trip: husky sledding and snow rides attracted genuine interest, and for many of the guests it was a brand-new experience.

The Moscow part of the program concluded with a transfer to the countryside hotel Cosmos Izumrudny Les. There the participants discovered opportunities for accommodation outside the metropolis, facilities for family and premium leisure, and the potential of combined “city + nature” itineraries.

During the business sessions, the INTOURIST team delivered a presentation on Moscow’s tourism potential and products that could be in demand among travelers from Jordan. The parties discussed how to adapt excursions to the Middle Eastern market, as well as logistics, catering and tour management. The meetings resulted in partnership agreements and plans to expand cooperation in the near future.

The first info tour for Jordanian travel operators by INTOURIST this season took place in Saint-Petersburg in December 2025. A step-by-step introduction to Russia’s key destinations helps partners create a more diverse product range and strengthen the country’s position in the Jordanian outbound market.

INTOURIST notes that Russia remains a relatively unknown destination for the Jordanian market, but interest in winter travel is steadily growing: guests are drawn by the extensive excursion program, vibrant seasonal entertainment, and high-quality hotel infrastructure. Regular direct flights and the abolition of visa requirements are also contributing to the gradual increase in demand.
